This project is part of I HeART Main Street, a program supporting Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) with the support they need to activate their main streets through public art and placemaking. This program engages BIAs, local artists and businesses across Ontario to create more vibrant and safe communities.

Artist Statement: A Fishy Feast with Fish Friends is a photo-drawing collage inspired by the selection of fresh fish offered at Nu Age Fish. It is a playful gathering of fish and human friends eating a delicious meal.
About the BIA: The DUKE Heights Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a non-for-profit, City of Toronto entity that focuses on improving the area through strategies around planning, economic development, and community building. The DUKE Heights BIA is one of the largest BIA’s in North America and we have over 2,500 businesses and 30,000 employees and over 34,000 people come into the BIA every work day for work, school, and shopping. We have a number of valuable partnerships and initiatives supporting social procurement strategies and employment sector strategies to develop the community and business in the area.
